How does it work? Investors

FOR THE INVESTOR
CREATIVES WITH A CONCEPT OR IDEA FOR A FILM PROJECT NEED ASSISTANCE!

Many independent FILM MAKERS, PRODUCERS AND DIRECTORS are gambling and making significant profit from MEDIA PROJECTS, INDEPENDENT FILM AND TELEVISION PROGRAMS being picked up by small to large distribution companies. Directors, producers and other creatives are budgeting films by extending credit cards and in a few cases are being picked up by virtue of the diverse landscape.

Shopping a film has become a completely different animal in the past five years and some smart people are cashing in on their ideas and their creative work.

THE LANDSCAPE OF INVESTMENT
Ordinary people from many business sectors are participating whereas ten years ago this wasn't the case. Private equity investors are investing along with
motion picture industry movers because of the tax incentives. International film interest is high with investment coming from Europe, Canada, Asia and many other far away places. Foreign territory pre-sales of film, video, DVD, television, and other distribution rights are becoming a reality close to home. Studios get in on the action, production companies contribute and everyone knows the significance of a potential distribution deal. The simple fact is that the Internet has made the world a much smaller place in terms of connecting for business.

The industry has changed overnight and conversely so has the world in terms of video and consumer trends. The likelihood of making a profit on a film project or idea is not so far fetched. As the financial services process becomes more convoluted with a struggling economy, private investment involving small to large amounts of money appear to be a viable solution for businesses and creatives.

Why small to large? People with limited funds are less likely to invest $5,000, yet ten investors investing $1000 each may provide what is necessary to an independent film creative to get a project done and sold. Now multiply this by twenty and you'll find the numbers start to get interesting. For our deeper pocket investors we have much larger traditional creatives with treatments and project synopsis that are not far from making the red carpet introduction at Cannes and Sundance.

THE RISK
U.S. Box Office Revenues were estimated at $10.2 Billion for 2007. Consumer Spending on DVD & VHS (Rental & Sales), U.S in 2006 was $23.6 Billion. Your investment is no different than the stock market, the lottery or any other market segment private investment environment, with the exception that the odds are greater as you conduct research and choose the investment opportunity. You also have options of assisting in the marketing of your investment property when the time is right.

The Consumer Electronics Show
has a special focus on content this year: Digital Content where content progressively drives consumer technology sales. Music, movies, games. Text, audio files, pictures. Content is any sound or image delivered to an audience through a CE product. It’s at the heart of consumer technology, and CES is at the heart of it all. Content is everywhere at CES. It spans all consumer technology markets, every product.

Digital Hollywood: Revolution, Redefinition, Refocus. Those are the themes of this year’s Digital Hollywood conference. This is a shifting market that is affecting content development, entertainment, social networking, product innovations, the digital home, consumer perceptions and market forces.
